The New Stuff

For now, this page will be filled with new stuff (until it becomes old stuff).  It may be cool new things I’ve learned, stuff I am excited for or stuff I come across that I just don’t have any place for, but don’t want to forget.  It may be new random thoughts.  It may also not really be “new” stuff, but stuff that reminds me to do something with the old stuff I have, so I don’t forget.  Like “notes” in your phone (which I’ve found can actually magically disappear if the Blackberry Hub has to reboot).  And, before we go any further, don’t sneer at my Blackberry.  I need my keyboard and I love my keyboard.  In fact, I have a touchscreen AND a keyboard, so that automatically makes my phone very cool.  But not as cool as my old Silver phone – another story for another day.

  • Kind of “Groundhog Day” Meets “I Know Who Killed Me” is coming to theaters on Friday, October 13th:  “Happy Death Day” (looks like fun to me) – www.HappyDeathDay.com
  • Same theme, “Friday the 13th” game recently came out – you can be either a counselor or Jason Vorhees.  I don’t play home video games, but if I did, this would be awesome.
  • They cut Thor’s hair in “Thor: Ragnarok” – will this make him cuter than Captain America?
  • CSI fictional casinos: Tangiers, Rampart (a real casino name, but not the same), Eclipse, The Four Kings, Palermo, Mediterranean, Le Chateau Rouge, Hotel Monaco
  • Interesting CSI note:  William Peterson started as the lead CSI in season one.  Ted Danson was the lead CSI in the final season.  They both were in the movie “Cousins” (1989).
